Engine(s)The engine is a 5.7 litre Volvo Penta 570 V-8 petrol unit - 275 bhp @ 4600rpm. It is directly-coupled to the outdrive-leg. The engine-room is protected by a 2kg auto fire extinguisher.
ConstructionPrecise year of construction is unknown but the two most recent boat surveys have "believed built mid-1990's". Hence the build date given as "1995" in this advert.
AccommodationWith clever use of space, the boat has sleeping accommodation for four and a sociable cockpit layout for eight. A dinette, attractively furnished, occupies the forward half of the main cabin, seats six in comfort, and converts into a double berth. A permanent double stretches across the boat amidships, reached through an opening that can be curtained off. In between there's a well-equipped galley and a toilet/shower/washbasin compartment. In the cockpit, a double helm seat can reversed to form part of the seating which extends round three sides of a table. This can be open to the sky or covered within a well-designed, new canopy. A tonneau cover is also available for protecting the upper deck area when storing the boat, as it has been in Winter. At the stern, there is a bathing platform with neatly stowed safety ladder, a mount for attaching an auxiliary outboard engine, storage for additional fenders, tow hook for pulling, clip-system for stowing an inflatable tender and socket for shore-power connection. A step up to the small opening door for entering the upper deck is on the portside of the platform
Navigation EquipmentSteering is by Morse push/pull cable. Engine control is by single-lever control. Instrumentation includes a rev counter, engine oil-pressure and oil-pressure gauges, a volt-meter, a fuel-tank meter, an outdrive-angle meter and a magnetic compass. An Autohelm Tri-Data log/depth-sounder is also provided. Other depth-info and GPS navigational equipment is included but currently not on board. Various switches are grouped at the helm-position for on-board services, and also for the trim-tab angles and windlass control
